I just read an article about Japan shutting down reactors at a nuclear plant after today's earthquake. "The contaminated water was released into the ocean and had had no effect on the environment, TEPCO said in a statement. The company had previously said there had been no radiation leaks at the plant, where reactors automatically shut down for checks." I think the narrative, at this point, can be about the world - a good character being usurped by big-business interests, breaking out on its surface like pimples on the face of a teenager - a zitty teen. Our personal story is journalism, but it's a situation within an growing environment of greed and self-interest. However....just like flowers sprouting from dung, there are many of RPC's stories of triumph. Maybe that could be our focus for thedeepsea?!
