Sweet! Love your thoughts about pushers. I recently skied with a friend and she got us stuck on a slope that was marked red and was steep and icy (Harder than double diamond? Maybe.) I looked at it, turned my skis down, and made a few turns. She saw how easy I made it, made a few turns, slipped on the ice, and ended up going down the rest of the hill head first on her stomach. I skied over and with a grin said "Well, we'll have to do that one again since you took the easy way down."

As a pusher, I'm glad to see you have the courage to keep trying, and I hope you learn to love skiing... As someone who has to be pushed when it comes to climbing... you give me courage to keep trying harder!

Great post, Jenn.

I have many 'people who push' me in my life... not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well. Folks that are excited to watch me grow strong, run further, and climb higher (and take scary lead falls). They are there working with me to overcome my fears and encourage me to take risks... and they support, cheer on and encourage through it all. These are special folks that we should all be so lucky to have surrounding us and pushing us further than we dared to dream we could.

Thanks for being such a sport. That's why we like you guys. Like I said at the gym, "one day the tables will turn and I'll be sorry!"
